StrongerThan is an independent [physiotherapy consultation] business (the "Company"), founded by Hannah Louise Leach. This privacy policy will explain how the Company uses the personal data collected from you (the "Client") when you use the Company's website and services.

What data does the Company collect?

The Company collects the following data:

  • Personal identification information (name, email address) when you contact the Company by email/via website;

  • Social media username when you contact the Company via social media platforms;

  • Medical information (cancer diagnosis, past medical history, psychosocial information) before and during your first initial assessment and ongoing during additional consultations;

  • Social information (lifestyle choices, geographical location);

  • and Feedback about your symptoms entered into the PhysiTrack app.

    How does the Company collect your data?

    You directly provide the Company with most of the data collected. Data and process data is collected when you:

  • Register online or place an order for any of services;

  • Contact the Company via email at strongerthanphysio@gmail.com;

  • Contact the Company via social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter or Facebook);

  • Voluntarily complete a Client pre and post-assessment form;

  • Voluntarily enter information and feedback into the PhysiTrack app;

  • Sign up to the mailing list via the Company website; Use or view the Company website via your browser’s cookies;

  • and Voluntarily complete any of the Company assessment forms (medical, physical and psychosocial wellbeing).

    How will the Company use your data?

    The Company collects your data to provide Clients with a personalised, high quality service and for analytic and marketing purposes.

    If you agree, StrongerThan will share your data with our partner companies so they may offer you their products and services. When the Company processes your order, it may send your data to, and also use the resulting information from, credit reference agencies to prevent fraudulent purchases.

    How does the Company store your data?

    Your data will be stored securely on Gmail, Instagram, Facebook, Cliniko and PhysiTrack. These are all trusted platforms, with password protection. The Company will keep your medical data for 8 years after the last entry, in accordance with the Records Management Code of Practice for Health and Social Care 2016. Once this time period has expired, your data will be deleted by removing data from Cliniko and PhysiTrack and deleting all correspondence via email or social media.

    Marketing

    The Company would like to send you information about our services. This will all be done via social media or email. If you have agreed to receive marketing, you may always opt out at a later date. You have the right at any time to stop the Company from contacting you for marketing purposes. If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please contact strongerthanphysio@gmail.com.

    What are your data protection rights?

    The Company would like to make sure Clients are fully aware of all data protection rights. Every Client is entitled to the following:

  • The right to access – You have the right to request the Company for copies of your personal data. Clients may be charged a small fee for this service.

  • The right to rectification – You have the right to request that the Company correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request the Company to complete the information you believe is incomplete.

  • The right to erasure – You have the right to request that the Company erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

  • The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that the Company restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

  • The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to the Company’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

  • The right to data portability – You have the right to request that the Company transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
